The couple, who got married in July 2022, are now facing issues leading towards a potential divorce, with Affleck already relocating his personal items from their shared Beverly Hills mansion.
Several reports have surfaced over the last few months shedding light on the strained marriage between Lopez and Affleck. Affleck has been seeking solace with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, as his current marriage with Lopez falls apart. Fans are also concerned about Lopez’s well-being, with signs indicating that things are not well for the acclaimed singer and actress barely two years into her marriage with Affleck in Las Vegas.
Lopez’s Emotional State
Insiders close to Lopez have disclosed that despite her recent trip to Italy, her mental state is fragile. Affleck took advantage of this trip to remove his belongings from their shared residence, signifying the end of their marriage.
“The marriage has come to an end, and Jennifer is deeply saddened,” revealed a source linked to Lopez to FOX News Digital.
This current split comes twenty years after Affleck and Lopez’s initial breakup in 2004. Lopez had previously described their first separation as “heart-wrenching.” Reports suggest that in the event of another split, Lopez intends to move with her children to her hometown, New York City, where she grew up in the Bronx.
Meanwhile, Affleck seems to be following advice from close friend Matt Damon as he retrieves his items from their mansion. Sources mentioned to People that he is immersing himself in work to distract from the marriage breakdown, while also spending quality time with his children.
“He appears to be coping well. He’s been devoted to his work and spending time with his kids,” shared the insider.
