Jennifer Lopez is facing challenges in her property hunt while the $68 million mansion she previously shared with Ben Affleck remains on the market.
On December 5, JLo was spotted exploring potential new homes in Beverly Hills and Brentwood, as reported by Daily Mail.
For this outing, she opted for a casual look featuring a blue flannel shirt, loose blue jeans, and platform boots.
Images captured during her visits show JLo appearing serious, with her arms crossed, as she checked out three mansions, each equipped with spacious backyards and swimming pools.
Currently, Lopez continues to reside in the $68 million mansion purchased with Affleck in May 2023. This property, valued at $60 million, was their sole shared residence throughout their marriage.
In May, Ben moved out and began renting a place for $1 million a month, raising concerns about their relationship status.
An insider informed In Touch at that time, “The signs are clear – it’s finished. They’re likely heading for a divorce – and surprisingly, this time it’s not Ben’s fault!”
“They may need to part with the dream home they had been looking for over two years,” the source added. “While they will always care for each other, Jennifer can’t control him, and he can’t alter her. Their relationship wasn’t meant to last.”
JLo and Ben still struggling to sell their home
In June, TMZ revealed that Affleck and Lopez enlisted realtor Santiago Aran from The Agency to assist in selling their mansion.
The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom property was listed for $68 million in July, but there have been no offers yet.
On August 20, Jennifer officially filed for divorce from Ben, marking two years since their lavish wedding in Georgia.
In an interview with Nikki Glaser, Jennifer reflected, “To pursue something greater, you must first be whole yourself.” She shared, “I thought I had grasped that concept, but I hadn’t. This past summer, I realized I needed to focus on my own self-development.”
