The Thanksgiving weekend revealed different paths for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck as they navigate life after their separation.
While Lopez was spotted enjoying a fashionable shopping trip in Beverly Hills on Black Friday, Affleck chose to spend the holiday helping out and celebrating with his former spouse, Jennifer Garner, and their children.
Dressed in a stylish tan overcoat, a classic white shirt, and distressed jeans, the 54-year-old star accessorized her look with aviator sunglasses and a designer bag, exuding a sense of confidence during her outing.
Her bright smile seemed to convey strength and determination, despite the recent challenges from her split with Affleck.
Lopez took to Instagram to share a cheerful picture featuring a beautifully cooked turkey.
“Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I am truly thankful for all of you,” she wrote alongside the image.
According to insiders, Lopez is currently prioritizing her personal wellbeing and self-discovery.
“She isn’t looking to date at this moment,” a source told DailyMail.com. “Her goal for 2025 is to focus on reclaiming her identity.”
Affleck bonds with Garner and the kids
Affleck dedicated his Thanksgiving to volunteering at Midnight Mission in Los Angeles with Garner and their three kids: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
The duo shared light-hearted moments during the event, with body language experts noting their natural rapport and ease.
Body language analyst Judi James stated that Affleck appeared to be “at ease and in control,” a significant shift from how he was perceived during his marriage to Lopez.
His holiday concluded with a family dinner at Garner’s Brentwood home.
