It seems that Jessica Biel is starting to feel exasperated by Justin Timberlake and his conduct.
The cause for this concern arose after Timberlake was arrested for driving under the influence in Sag Harbor, New York on June 17. The incident occurred after an evening out with friends at the American Hotel, where he was subsequently stopped by law enforcement for running a stop sign and driving on the wrong side of the road.
For Timberlake, this recent incident seems to have pushed his wife, Biel, to her limits. In 2019, he was captured holding hands and being affectionate with actress Alisha Wainwright in New Orleans, and the series of public blunders is taking its toll.
“He implored Jessica for another chance and she granted it,” an insider informed In Touch. “However, five years later, he still seems unable to control himself when he’s out partying. She can’t endure much more of this behavior.”
Timberlake addressed the incident with Alisha in a 2019 Instagram post, stating: “I try to avoid gossip as much as possible. But for the sake of my family, I believe it is necessary to confront recent rumors that are causing distress to the people I love.
“A few weeks ago, I exhibited a significant error in judgment – let me clarify – nothing inappropriate happened between my costar and me. I consumed excessive alcohol that night and regret my actions. I should have known better.
“This is not the behavior I wish to display for my son. I apologize to my incredible wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am committed to being the best husband and father I can be. That was not acceptable.”
Biel and Timberlake’s enduring relationship
Despite the public blunder, Biel and Timberlake opted to remain together and welcomed their second child in July 2020.
She even attended his concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday, June 25, following his arrest.
The arresting officer mentioned that Timberlake’s “eyes were red and glassy, he emitted a strong smell of alcohol from his breath, he had impaired attention, his speech was slow, he was unsteady on his feet, and performed poorly on all sobriety tests.”
Justin was released from custody on June 18 and is scheduled for a virtual court appearance on July 26.
