Taylor Swift‘s former boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, is reportedly eager to reconnect with the singer, despite her new relationship with Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Alwyn is currently in Hollywood for promotional activities related to his latest film, The Brutalist. He appears interested in catching up with Swift, who has an LA residence, although his intentions are not romantic.
At 33 years old, Alwyn has been focusing on his acting career while looking back on his six-year relationship with Swift, which ended in 2023. Swift has since dated Matt Healy from The 1975 and now is with Kelce.
A source indicated that the breakup was initially challenging for both, but Alwyn has now found peace regarding the split. “They shared a significant time together, and he hopes to reflect positively on those memories,” the source noted.
Alwyn wishes to reconnect with Swift for an honest conversation, emphasizing that this does not signal a romantic rekindling. He genuinely cares for her and cherishes their past.
Interest in Meeting Travis Kelce
Although Alwyn has no desire to disrupt Swift’s current relationship, he is open to meeting Kelce, understanding that their professional realms may eventually overlap.
Kelce, 35, is gradually making a name for himself in entertainment, co-hosting various shows and taking roles in productions like FX’s Grotesquerie as Ed Laclan, as well as the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2.
Meanwhile, Alwyn has been busy with projects such as Hamnet, adapted from Maggie O’Farrell’s novel, and Hamlet, where he portrays Laertes. These films are set to enhance his already growing filmography, which recently earned him a Golden Globe nomination for The Brutalist.
