In her latest newsletter edition titled “Beau Society,” Steinfeld outlined a collection of experiences and goals she aims to achieve this summer.
As Allen gears up for boot camp starting on July 23, his wife has been busy making enjoyable plans to maximize their time together before he returns to duty. One of these plans includes an activity they both love, albeit with differing opinions.
The ice cream flavor they don’t agree on
The “Sinner” star expressed that this year, while continuing to fulfill her work commitments, she also intends to carve out personal time for activities like reading, unplugging for a weekend, exploring new interests, and trying her hand at cooking.
Indeed, one of her exciting projects is making her own ice cream after going through a new recipe book; however, she mentioned that her husband prefers a very conventional flavor that she herself isn’t fond of:
“I hadn’t thought about it before, but now I can’t stop imagining all the options. I’m considering starting with strawberry (not my top choice, but Josh loves it) or coffee Crunch. I’m also intrigued by the idea of recreating one of your favorite flavors from Handel’s or Jeni’s at home.” Steinfeld shared.
Additionally, she is also focused on staying active, a passion she shares with her husband. To ensure consistency, she has outlined specific goals for exercise and recovery: “A mile a day seems feasible, but I prefer to rest on weekends, so I might need to double up on some days.”
There’s no doubt that their agenda will be packed, and they’ll enjoy all these experiences together before Allen must fulfill his obligations with the team. Will they end up making their ice cream apart?
