Justin Bieber posted a heartfelt message about his faith in Jesus Christ while managing the ups and downs of being a first-time father in 2024, amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The Canadian artist celebrated the birth of his son in August and enjoyed early parenthood before being drawn into the allegations against Diddy, who stands accused of various forms of abuse against more than 100 individuals and faces federal charges.
Recent videos from his younger years revealed Combs advising a teen not to disclose their private encounters. Another clip suggested he believed these situations were a dream come true for a 15-year-old.
The context surrounding Diddy‘s alleged wild parties, where attendees report they were assaulted, drugged, and coerced, has raised concerns regarding Bieber, who previously expressed a desire to protect Billie Eilish from industry threats in 2020.
Although the 30-year-old artist has remained silent on the matter, he has appeared to reaffirm his faith in Jesus as a source of strength during this trying year.
Bieber shared on Instagram Stories, “How can I really believe Jesus is with me? For me, it’s his goodness that continually reassures me.”
“Every time I thought he wouldn’t show up, he always has. He’s the constant presence that guides me, providing healing and restoring everything that has been attacked or taken.”
What’s the status of Sean Diddy Combs’ trial?
Combs has denied all accusations against him in both civil and federal cases. He is currently remanded at the Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail by New York courts.
Facing serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, he was arrested by Homeland Security and pleaded not guilty on September 17. His trial is set to start on May 5, 2025.
If he succeeds in the federal case, he will still face over 100 allegations from individuals, including a lawsuit filed by his ex-partner, Cassie Ventura, in November 2023.
One document claims he and Jay-Z were involved in an assault against a 13-year-old girl at a 2000 MTV VMA Awards afterparty. Both have denied these claims.
