Kristin Cavallari recently announced the end of her relationship with Mark Estes, despite their initially healthy connection. She made the decision to part ways and shared insights about her choice during a recent episode of her podcast ‘Let’s Be Honest.’
In her discussion, she stated, “Mark and I broke up… it was a difficult choice because I knew that for the long-term, it wasn’t the right fit. This isn’t due to a lack of love or any bad situations,” revealing that it was a mutual decision.
Kristin noted that while they had been open and honest about their feelings, it was essential for them to go their separate ways. An important factor in their decision was the age difference, which had become evident over time.
A gracious farewell
She emphasized that there were no negative feelings towards Mark and believed it was crucial for him to embark on his own experiences. “He’s been the best boyfriend I’ve had. I recognize that he needs to have these life experiences, especially since he’s younger,” she explained.
Reflecting on her own experiences at 24, she highlighted that those years are vital for personal growth and that Mark must have the chance to discover who he is. She expressed that this decision would ultimately benefit him in the long run.
Although reports suggest that the breakup was challenging for Estes, he ultimately concurred with Kristins’s sentiments. She conveyed her desire for him to have a meaningful “life experience,” believing that this separation is genuinely in his best interest.
