Rapper Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, was taken into custody in New York following allegations of sexual harassment, abuse, and rape, sparking significant public uproar in the United States.
The accusations originate from his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, who initiated legal action in November 2023, claiming that Combs had inflicted physical and sexual abuse upon her throughout their decade-long relationship.
Although her lawsuit was settled shortly after it was filed, her claims prompted others to come forward, expanding the inquiry into Diddy’s conduct at gatherings referred to as ‘Freak Off Parties’, where sexual exploitation and abuse were purported to have occurred.
A source close to Leonardo DiCaprio, who was mentioned as one of the celebrities in attendance at these events, defended him to the Daily Mail.
“Leonardo DiCaprio has absolutely no involvement in this situation,” the source asserted.
“He attended a few gatherings in the early 2000s – but it was a common occurrence back then. They were not what people describe as freak offs.
“They were large house gatherings. Leo was just starting his career then and has since moved beyond that lifestyle.
“He has no links to that scene, so it’s absurd to think he could be entangled in this because of a few outdated photos that are more than two decades old.
“Leo is concentrating on his career and personal life, having no thoughts about Diddy’s federal case, as he has no association with it.”
