Former One Direction member, Liam Payne, experienced troubling events shortly before his tragic death.
In the days leading up to his fatal accident when he fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, reports surfaced indicating that Payne was removed from the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires for disruptive behavior.
Insiders reported that Payne was ejected from the hotel due to being intoxicated and creating disturbances for other guests.
One source revealed to PEOPLE, “He was being a nuisance and causing trouble. He seemed to be intoxicated.” The hotel has opted to keep further details private.
Sadly, just a few days later, on October 16, Payne fell from his balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, leading to his death.
According to Pablo Policicchio, director of communications for Buenos Aires Security Ministry, Payne “jumped from the balcony.”
Autopsy reveals multiple severe injuries
The initial autopsy indicated that Payne endured severe internal and external injuries, which played a role in his death.
The coroner confirmed that “the head injuries were enough to cause death,” and noted “internal and external hemorrhages” in various parts of his body contributed to the tragic outcome.
Authorities clarified there were no defensive wounds, suggesting that he was alone during the incident. A toxicology report is still awaited.
Payne’s passing has deeply affected his former bandmates from One Direction. Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik have each shared heartfelt tributes to their friend.
Styles expressed his devastation over Liam’s death, while Niall Horan, who had seen Payne shortly before his passing, lamented, “I did not realize that after saying goodbye, it would be forever.”
