Meghan Markle Stuns in Her Boldest Mini Dress Post-Royal Departure

Meghan Markle Dons Her Shortest Dress Yet Since Ditching Royal Family

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is relishing her newfound independence after stepping away from royal duties. Throughout her royal tenure, several of her wardrobe choices raised eyebrows among the monarchy. However, her recent ensemble—a strikingly short dress at a charity gathering—would have certainly stirred controversy within royal circles.

The royal family is known for its extensive dress codes, making Meghan’s choice of a thigh-grazing, shoulder-baring dress not fit for royal standards, especially when it was complemented by stylish high heels and sunglasses. Fortunately for Meghan, she is now free from these outdated royal fashion restrictions, allowing her to display her toned arms and legs without worrying about media backlash. Nonetheless, her outfit came with a royal-level price, with the Giuliva Heritage Edda tweed dress costing nearly $1,400.

During this occasion, Meghan was not only raising funds for the Alliance For Children’s Rights—a non-profit advocating for children in foster care—but also celebrating Prince Harry’s milestone 40th birthday. He, too, showcased a casual style for the event, donning jeans and a blazer, steering clear of any royal dress code violations.

Meghan and Harry are California dreamin’

Since leaving royal life, Meghan is truly thriving. She and Prince Harry are navigating the exciting balance of fame and fortune, while enjoying the freedoms that come without the traditional royal constraints. Together, they’re able to raise their children, Archie and Lilibet, in the warmth of California, while engaging in various lucrative projects.

Financially, Meghan and Harry are doing exceptionally well. Their media company, Archewell Productions, landed a deal with Netflix that is reportedly worth around $100 million—impressive for newcomers in the entertainment industry. Additionally, they had a $20 million agreement with Spotify, which unfortunately ended on less-than-ideal terms earlier in 2023.

“I wish I had been involved in the ‘Meghan and Harry leave Spotify’ negotiation. ‘The F**king Grifters.’ That’s the podcast we should have launched with them,” remarked Bill Simmons, Spotify’s head of podcast innovation, on his podcast. He humorously reflected on a prior discussion with Harry regarding a podcast idea he once tried to assist with. Recently, Meghan announced a new podcast collaboration with Lemonada Media, stating, “Being able to support a female-founded company with noteworthy and entertaining podcasts is an exciting way to start 2024,” according to Variety.
