“Michael Jackson’s Surprising Innocence: Unveiling His Relationship with Lisa Marie Presley”

Michael Jackson was still a virgin at 35 when he started dating Lisa Marie Presley according to Elvis' daughter's book

Lisa Marie Presley’s new book, From Here to the Great Unknown, shares surprising details about her marriage to Michael Jackson, revealing he remained a virgin into his mid-30s. This left her feeling “terrified” during their two-year relationship from 1994 to 1996.

The two first crossed paths in 1992 but began dating shortly after Presley’s divorce from Danny Keough. During their time together, she supported him in addressing allegations of child abuse outside the courtroom before he entered rehab.

Presley even appeared in one of his music videos, but their marriage ended in January 1996. Despite efforts to maintain their relationship post-divorce, a key issue was possibly Jackson’s lack of intimate experience.

According to Presley, his admission of being a virgin was startling. She stated in her memoir, released on October 8, that he had only briefly kissed Tatum O’Neal and had a non-physical relationship with Brooke Shields.

She recounted, “He mentioned Madonna once tried to get closer to him, but nothing came of it. I was scared to make a wrong move.”

This revelation is just one aspect of the memoir, which was completed by Presley’s daughter, Riley Keough. The 35-year-old actress, nominated for a Golden Globe, explained that she wanted to bring depth to her mother’s story amid all the public scrutiny.

Riley expressed to PEOPLE, “Being Elvis Presley’s daughter, my mother was constantly under public examination. Her goal with this memoir, and mine in finishing it, was to reveal her true self beyond the headlines.”

She emphasized her mother’s multifaceted personality: as a devoted parent, a lively spirit, a loyal friend, an underrated artist, and as someone who experienced both joy and sorrow in her extraordinary life.

“I hope to give my mom the voice she sometimes couldn’t express while she was alive.”

Presley shares how Jackson expressed his feelings

Michael Jackson, celebrated for his music and dance moves, might be expected to declare his love dramatically, akin to a scene from a Shakespearean play.

Nonetheless, he openly professed his feelings for Presley while they were in Las Vegas. She recalls, “Michael said, ‘I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m completely in love with you.’ He added that he wanted to marry her and have children.

Initially, Presley was taken aback and struggled to respond but eventually admitted that she felt the same way. “I was really flattered and realized, at that moment, that I loved him too.”
