Marcus Jordan got a significant push in his business ambitions when the well-known Chris Brown was spotted wearing his Trophy Room apparel. This line was developed by Marcus, the son of basketball icon Michael Jordan.
Brown, whose net worth is around $50 million, showcased the clothes while performing at his Austin, Texas concert, where he entertained a full house at the Moody Center with hits like Run It, Kiss Kiss, and Forever.
This endorsement is a significant milestone for Marcus, who began Trophy Room in 2016 and has gradually grown it by partnering with leading brands like Nike.
Sharing the moment, Marcus posted on Instagram, highlighting the singer in red and white outfits paired with Nike Jordan 1 sneakers, saying, “My brother @shadmoss sent me these pics of @chrisbrownofficial reppin’ #trophyroomstore #FamSh*t.”
After his aspirations of becoming a pro basketball player, Marcus shifted his focus to entrepreneurship, initially playing for the University of Central Florida before stepping back to concentrate on his studies.
In 2016, he launched Trophy Room in Orlando, despite his father’s initial disapproval and refusal to invest in the idea.
Beginning with sneakers, Marcus expanded the brand to include apparel and accessories, ultimately transitioning to an online-only format, closing the original store.
