After the news of Aurora Culpo dating Paul Bernon came out, her sister Olivia Culpo spoke about her wedding guest list. Olivia discussed why she chose not to invite her sister’s boyfriend to her wedding with NFL star Christian McCaffrey.
Olivia, who tied the knot with McCaffrey recently, shared her views on the Barely Filtered podcast before the ceremony. She mentioned that her decision not to invite her sister’s new partner was considered rude by Aurora.
“No, [it’s] rude to invite somebody I’ve never met,” Olivia explained.
The Reason for Olivia’s Choice
When Aurora suggested bringing her friend, Olivia saw him as temporary. She clarified that her decision was not about him personally but about her sister’s relationship tendencies.
“Sorry, it’s not a reflection of you,” she mentioned. “It’s a reflection of my sister.”
Even though Paul Bernon wasn’t named in the podcast, reports stated that Aurora had been dating Bethenny Frankel’s ex-fiance for two months. Both Aurora and Bernon have ties to Boston, which has deepened their bond. It was initially assumed that Bernon would attend Olivia and McCaffrey‘s wedding.
Aurora clarified on the podcast that her boyfriend was invited to spend time with the Culpo family the day before the rehearsal dinner, not at the actual wedding.
