A recent concert by the band Jane’s Addiction witnessed a dramatic incident among its members.
During the performance, lead singer Perry Farrell unexpectedly clashed with guitarist Dave Navarro and ultimately punched him. This altercation took place at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston.
While the band was performing ‘Ocean Size’, tensions escalated just a few songs before their set was scheduled to conclude.
In the midst of the song, Farrell approached Navarro and began yelling at him.
Following a shove, he went on to punch Navarro, leaving him shocked as crew members rushed onto the stage to intervene.
Band members intervened to diffuse the situation
Other band members stepped in to restrain Farrell to prevent further escalation, while Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins embraced, helping to bring the performance to a close.
Eyewitnesses suggested that Farrell appeared to be intoxicated during the incident. Just days prior, at a New York concert, he acknowledged difficulties with his voice to the audience, stating that something felt “off.”
“All of a sudden I can’t get the notes out,” he shared with the crowd.
