Eric, the brother of renowned Puerto Rican artist Ricky Martin, expressed his sadness over the enduring separation within their family. He mentioned in a message that he yearns for reconciliation as he and Ricky have not seen their father in over a year.
The situation is complex, marked by family tensions stemming from accusations made by Eric’s son, Deniss Yadiel, who alleges that Ricky engaged in inappropriate behavior with him.
Eric expressed his hopes saying, “To our family who we haven’t been able to connect with for various reasons, a warm hello to my brother (Ricky). I hope we can resolve our issues and reunite soon.”
In a follow-up message, he mentioned that he was aware that Ricky had visited his home country, Puerto Rico, as part of his annual birthday tradition but chose not to see his father, Enrique Martin Negroni.
Ricky marked his 53rd birthday on December 24, enjoying time with his children Lucia, Valentino, Matteo, and Renn on the beautiful shores of ‘Isla del Encanto’. This decision upset his brother, who commented:
While it’s wonderful that you are in Puerto Rico celebrating your birthday with the kids, don’t forget that you also marked a year of not seeing daddy just the day before yesterday.
He stated that his goal was to get Ricky’s attention since he suspects he might be blocked on social media, hoping that he would reflect on this and eventually visit their father: “I just posted it for him to see, thinking he’s blocked me, and this might make him think and come to visit.”
Despite this, he insisted that he is not taking sides in the ongoing conflict involving Ricky and his nephew to prevent further family tensions and disagreements; however, this approach didn’t seem to yield results. Eric hinted at the possibility of other reasons behind Ricky Martin’s distance from his family in Puerto Rico.
