On December 16, Chelsea O’Donnell, the daughter of well-known actress Rosie O’Donnell, found herself back in custody at the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin after breaching a court order from December 9.
Chelsea was apprehended once again for not showing up at a court hearing, despite having recently completed a mandated 28-day rehabilitation program. The court had stipulated that she would have to return to prison and reinstate her $7,500 bail.
The publication In Touch reported that Chelsea’s bail has been revoked by the judge, meaning she remains in custody.
What led to Chelsea O’Donnell’s first arrest?
Her initial arrest occurred on September 10 following a 911 call that alerted law enforcement to her residence with boyfriend Jacob Nelund. When police arrived, they discovered the living conditions to be “disgusting,” with substantial amounts of garbage, drugs, and paraphernalia present, as well as her 11-month-old son, Atlas.
Officers described the scene as containing “rotten food, filthy dishes, foul-smelling milk, dirty diapers, and used hygiene products scattered about.” Numerous drugs, including “methamphetamine and devices for consumption” were also found in Chelsea’s room.
Recent arrests in the last three months
Within the last three months, Chelsea has been arrested four times, drawing attention not only for being the mother of Atlas but also for having three other children, Skylar Rose, Riley, and Avery Lynn, from her previous relationship with Jacob Bourassa. The charges she faces include child neglect and drug possession.
