Ryan Paevey’s New Adventures Beyond the Hallmark Channel

Actor Ryan Paevey has recently shared his reasons for stepping back from acting, citing a loss of connection to his true self. He expressed that his time on screen brought about feelings he didn’t appreciate. In a statement to Heavy, he thanked his fans, expressing hope for future opportunities.

He ultimately chose to focus on caring for his mother, who was diagnosed with lung cancer, a decision he feels was right for him. Since then, Paevey has embraced a slower lifestyle while also exploring entrepreneurship to make a living.

In a post from December 16, 2024, he revealed, “I don’t really miss Hollywood. It was financially rewarding but emotionally taxing.” Paevey’s social media showcases his new lifestyle, including beautiful sunsets, adventures in surfing, and returning to rock climbing. He also promotes his burgeoning jewelry business, Fortunate Wanderer, which began with a small gesture of gifting bracelets to fans and has now expanded into a full-fledged venture, complete with plans for unique events and offerings.

Ryan Paevey is turning his side hustle into his main hustle

After his notable career with Hallmark, Ryan Paevey appears to be relishing a semi-retired lifestyle. For fans yearning for more content, he’s available on Cameo, but he’s also embarking on new ventures. In January 2025, he took to Instagram to announce his collaboration with Shiku Sushi Bar in La Jolla, California, as part of a website rebranding alongside his jewelry brand.

Paevey shared that he’s expanded Fortunate Wanderer to include clothing while announcing a unique “meet & greet and exclusive dining experience” where fans can dine with him for a multi-course meal while supporting his new endeavors. This kind of event is a creative approach for someone transitioning out of acting, allowing him to connect with his audience in a different setting. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Paevey, even if it might lead him back to Hallmark.
