Actors from the horror film series I Know What You Did Last Summer recently visited Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, a popular destination that was previously avoided by Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar have been seen in Australia as they gear up to reprise their roles in the series. The duo, who acted together in the sequel before getting married, were excited to be back.

At 48 years old, they enjoyed a trip to Australia’s Sea Life Aquarium and the zoo. Freddie was seen with a sleeping koala, referring to the animal as his “homie,” while dressed casually in black pants and a red t-shirt.

Freddie will reprise his role as Ray Bronson, which he first took on in 1997. While he has already begun filming, Sarah won’t be returning, as her character, Helen Shivers, was written out of the series.

Sarah sported a black cardigan and singlet paired with blue jeans, styling her blonde hair in a bun. She snapped a cute moment with the koala, mimicking its sleeping pose.

Later on, she lay down to pet a seal at the aquarium and also enjoyed observing some spiders, penguins, and sharks.

The couple plans to celebrate Christmas in Australia due to filming obligations, which may allow for another visit to Taronga Zoo.

When is the next I Know What You Did Last Summer due for release?

Details about the upcoming film remain largely undisclosed, but it is speculated to premiere in theaters around July 18, 2025.

Based on the 1973 novel of the same name, the series produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment has resulted in three films (including one direct-to-video) and a television adaptation.
