Liam Payne has tragically died after reportedly falling from the third floor of the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel in the lively Palermo area of Buenos Aires. Emergency medical personnel arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries from the fall.
Reports suggest that Payne was in Buenos Aires to attend a concert by his former One Direction bandmate, Niall Horan.
At around 5:04 PM on Wednesday, the hotel’s manager called the authorities, reporting that Payne was acting aggressively and possibly under the influence of substances.
Law enforcement from the 14B Police Station and a safety medical response team arrived shortly after to find Payne’s body in the courtyard.
In light of this tragic event, local authorities are investigating the specifics surrounding his unexpected passing.

In response to the news, numerous celebrities have expressed their condolences on social media for the former One Direction star.
Although Shawn Mendes didn’t name Payne specifically, he shared on X: “We take care of each other.”
Paris Hilton also conveyed her sympathies, stating, “So upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing. Sending love and condolences to his family & loved ones. RIP my friend.”
Charlie Puth, who collaborated with Payne on “Bedroom Floor,” mourned his loss with a photo of them together on Instagram and shared further memories in his stories. He expressed, “I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I cannot believe he is gone. I am so upset right now, may he rest in peace.”
