Simone Biles Faces Criticism Over Alleged Disrespectful Interaction with George Strait’s Wife

Simone Biles is not liked by everyone and is accused of giving a disrespectful look to George Strait's wife

Simone Biles drew attention online during the Country Music Awards, not for her exquisite gown or presentation but due to a moment caught on camera.

Attending the CMAs at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Biles captivated onlookers in a dazzling metallic one-shoulder dress and showcased a new bob hairstyle.

During a tribute by Chris Stapleton for George Strait, Biles was seen behind Strait‘s wife, Norma, appearing to glance in her direction while moving to the rhythm.

When Strait received the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award later that night, the camera once again captured Biles glancing at Norma.

These brief moments led to speculation online, with some suggesting Biles was giving a “dirty look,” though many refuted these claims as exaggerated.

Comments included, “The eye roll and look on her face was so disrespectful! I saw that. What’s her deal?,” while another asked, “Is there any tension between Simone Biles and George Strait‘s wife?”

In contrast, a third user remarked, “OMG! She is just looking in that direction. I doubt she is staring at her. No reason for any animosity……lol.”

A Night of Elegance

Regardless of the speculation, Biles truly shone that night. After her red carpet debut, she transitioned into a dazzling $176 suit from VICI to present Lainey Wilson with the Female Vocalist of the Year award.

The evening’s highlight celebrated George Strait‘s illustrious career as he was honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his exceptional impact on country music.

In his acceptance speech, Strait lovingly acknowledged his wife of 53 years, Norma, along with his fans and collaborators.
