Recently, a photo circulated claiming to depict “Sexyy Red without makeup.” This manipulated image made the “Get It Sexyy” artist appear less appealing without her usual glamorous look. The photo gained so much attention that Red felt compelled to respond with her own unfiltered images. In an April post on X, previously known as Twitter, she shared two pictures stating, “This is me with no makeup.” The first image had her face inappropriately edited onto someone holding a firearm, but she sported her signature red locks, a nod to her stage persona. The second was a candid car selfie featuring her natural look, aside from a hint of lip gloss, with her brunette hair styled in a bun and long bangs framing her face. Fans showed their support in the comments, with one noting, “You don’t need makeup; you’re beautiful as you are,” and even critics acknowledged she looked great without the cosmetics.
