Swift made her first appearance at the annual Tight End University, a summer event for NFL tight ends founded by Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen. Her presence there, not merely as a visitor but as a part of the event, highlights the significant progress in their relationship since their now-iconic public introduction.
Their story began with a bold move. Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium in 2023 and made a friendship bracelet that had his phone number on it, inspired by a fan tradition that Swift popularized.
After missing the chance to give it to her directly, he aired his invitation for her to come to one of his games during his podcast. This gesture could have easily been overlooked, but Swift surprisingly accepted.

When Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for the game between the Chiefs and Bears on September 24, 2023, she did not ask for special treatment or a VIP entrance. Instead, she chose to sit among friends and family, fully immersing herself in the atmosphere.
In a recent discussion on Bussin’ With the Boys, Kelce shared how that experience transformed everything for him.
“When she came to the game against the Bears, I thought I could set her up with some perks, but she just walked right in through the main entrance,” Kelce recounted. “She skipped all the usual protocol and just wanted to be with family and friends. I was taken aback; she wanted to embrace the chaos and support me. I realized then that she genuinely won me over.”
That game symbolized more than just a gesture; it marked the start of something special. The Chiefs dominated the Bears with a score of 41-10, and Kelce even scored a touchdown. Since that day, Swift has been to 23 Chiefs games, witnessing the team’s impressive 19-4 record while she’s been present. Some fans have even started humorously referring to her as Kansas City’s unofficial talisman of good fortune.
