Taylor Swift is reportedly bewildered by Justin Baldoni‘s recent accusations in his lawsuit against Blake Lively.
The director of It Ends With Us, Justin Baldoni, has initiated a counter-suit worth $400 million, claiming that Blake sexually harassed him and created an unfavorable work atmosphere during their film’s production. A particularly striking allegation is that Blake supposedly brought her friend Taylor Swift into the situation to coerce him into accepting her modifications to the movie script.
In the filed lawsuit, Justin stated that Blake involved Taylor to sway his opinion after he expressed doubts about her script changes. His claim suggests that Taylor’s unexpected presence at a meeting pressured him into agreement with Blake’s direction. However, a source close to Taylor has emphasized her confusion regarding these allegations, denying any interference in Blake‘s creative process.
“Taylor is proud of the film because her music appears in it, but she wasn’t deeply engaged in its production,” the source clarified.
“Her relationship with Blake is solely one of friendship. She never aimed to control or influence Blake’s work.”
An insider seeks to clear the air
The insider further explained that Taylor was merely visiting Blake during the meeting and had no knowledge of script discussions taking place.
“Taylor dropped by to spend time with her friend, unaware that the meeting was still in progress. Taylor finds Justin’s interpretation confusing,” the source added.
“She was courteous to him, like she is with everyone, and was unaware of his identity.”
In the court filings submitted Thursday, Justin’s lawyer presented screenshots of text exchanges between Justin and Blake.
