Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes Opt Out of Chiefs WAG Reality Series

Can Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes still be friends? "People shouldn't give a damn"

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes will not be featured in the upcoming documentary focused on the lives of the wives and girlfriends of the Kansas City Chiefs, even though they are linked to two of the team’s star players.

Swift, currently one of the most famous musical artists globally, frequently finds herself in the spotlight, surrounded by cameras, despite her desire for privacy.

When this documentary airs on Bravo, it will be devoid of Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend, as Swift strives to dodge the excessive media attention while managing her record-setting Eras Tour.

According to a PEOPLE source, “Taylor and Brittany are not part of the show at all and will not appear on camera.”

The source added that “Taylor is particularly protective of her private life, enjoying her time with the other wives but opting out of any Bravo storylines.”

Since starting her relationship with Kelce around August 2023, Swift’s influence has significantly raised the tight end’s profile and has reportedly brought an additional $400 million in revenue to the NFL.

As fans of Swift engage more with the sport, the NFL is eager to leverage her popularity, often capturing her in the stands of Arrowhead Stadium as she cheers for Kelce in his pursuit of a fourth Super Bowl championship.

Who will be featured in the series?

While the Kansas City Chiefs have been a strong force in the NFL since 2019, little is known about the women who support these players, except for Swift, who was already renowned before her relationship with Kelce.

The documentary still requires final touches, including selecting the cast and determining if there is sufficient content to create a complete series.

As per the source’s comments, “There are still many aspects to address, including casting decisions and evaluating the material for a full series.”

Early speculation suggests that the partners of Mecole Hardman Jr. (Chariah Gordon) and Chris Jones (Sheawna Weathersby), who have recently mingled with Swift, may earn prominent roles in the show.

Another source noted, “The focus will largely be on Chariah and Sheawna, along with their social circle, who relate to the challenges of being with dedicated athlete partners.”
