Taylor Swift has momentarily stepped away from her music career to pursue another passion: baking. This talented artist took the time to create homemade Pop-Tarts for the crew working with her partner, Travis Kelce.
The standout player for the Kansas City Chiefs recently participated in an American Eagle photoshoot, and Swift’s thoughtful gesture was shared in a video posted by fans. The clip showcased a box of her homemade treats, which came with a handwritten note.
The note mentioned the flavors of the Pop-Tarts (strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry) and included a sweet message from the Grammy-winning star that said, “Have a great shoot!! Love [Swift’s signature].”
While Swift is celebrated for her chart-topping albums and live performances, those close to her also admire her culinary skills—a sentiment echoed by Chiefs head coach, Andy Reid.
“She’s just as talented in the kitchen as she is on stage,” Reid remarked during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show in March 2024. “Unfortunately, she doesn’t share her treats with me—only with the linemen.”
He humorously added, “I told her, ‘You should share a little with the coach too!'”
These heartfelt gestures illustrate Swift’s ability to cultivate joy in her personal life through small, thoughtful actions, mirroring the values instilled in her by her family.
Kelce remains tight-lipped about Swift’s baking
Reid’s comments reflect the sentiments many fans have observed regarding Swift—she makes an effort to show appreciation through personal touches, even amidst her fame.
Her baking also aligns with Travis Kelce‘s fondness for Pop-Tarts; he’s previously shared that they are among his favorite comfort snacks on his New Heights podcast back in January.
The couple, who started dating in 2023, cherish their time cooking together away from the public eye, a sentiment Kelce is clearly protective of.
“I appreciate the interest,” Kelce told reporters in July 2024. “However, I prefer to keep those moments private because cooking with her brings me joy.”
Despite moving on to the next question, the 35-year-old athlete, a three-time Super Bowl champion, couldn’t help but add with a smile, “Taylor makes a fantastic Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll.”
