Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted enjoying a romantic evening filled with public displays of affection at one of Palm Beach’s swanky dining spots. Pamela Goodman, a 69-year-old devoted fan of Swift and an active member of multiple Taylor Swift fan communities on Facebook, was enjoying her meal with a friend at Buccan—a prestigious restaurant recognized by the James Beard Foundation—when she noticed the high-profile couple seated right next to her in a cozy corner of the venue.
“They were like a playful couple on a romantic date. Just the cutest!” Goodman shared with Page Six. “I can assure you, this is genuine love. It’s not a façade. They’re the real deal and absolutely delightful.”
A heartwarming encounter
As mentioned by Goodman, who recognized the couple after spotting them from her peripheral view, Taylor and Travis appeared affectionate and at ease during the evening.
She noticed them savoring cocktails, sharing dishes, exchanging sweet kisses, and breaking into laughter frequently.
“They’re very friendly and truly embody what we, the Swifties, see in them,” she noted. “I experienced it firsthand.”
The owner of Buccan checked in with Goodman and her friend to see if they were comfortable with the celebrity couple nearby, which they certainly were. As the night wrapped up, Goodman seized the chance to share her admiration with the 14-time Grammy winner.
“I stood up and said, ‘Excuse me, I don’t want to interrupt, but I’m likely one of your oldest and biggest fans on the planet,'” Goodman reminisced. “She laughed, and I continued, ‘I just had to congratulate you on reclaiming your masters. I’m thrilled for you. Congratulations!'”
Swift kindly replied, “I saw you! You are so lovely. Thank you so much!” and she extended her hand for a shake.
This interaction occurred shortly after Swift announced she had successfully regained the rights to her original master recordings from Shamrock Capital.
The agreement was reportedly a nine-figure deal and marked the culmination of a six-year effort to reclaim her rights to her first six albums, which were initially sold by her former label Big Machine to Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings back in 2019.
Goodman also took a moment to chat with Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, sharing her Kansas City roots and her support for the Chiefs. She wished him good luck for the upcoming NFL season, set to begin in September.
“He immediately reached out his hand and said, ‘Thank you very much,'” she shared, noting he was as gracious and warm as Swift.
