In a recent appearance on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’, Lisa Kudrow revealed a touching story about Matthew Perry. After filming the series finale, he gifted her a box of cookies. Initially, this seemed like a simple gesture, but Kudrow later discovered that it contained a heartfelt note from him. “I hadn’t opened it or looked inside. But yes, he did. He had a note in there and I forgot about it,” she shared.
Sadly, the exact message from the note is still a mystery as Lisa Kudrow chose not to disclose it, despite being pressed during the interview. Nonetheless, she reflected with the phrase: “Timing is everything.” For now, this note remains a cherished secret from the late actor.
Their friendship assuredly led to a kind and affectionate message intended for her during their decade of working together. It’s possible that Lisa Kudrow may eventually share the contents of the note, but she is not inclined to do so at this moment.
The strong connection between them was evident, as Lisa Kudrow expressed on her social media after Matthew Perry‘s death: “Thank you for making me laugh so hard at something you said that every muscle ached and tears streamed down my face every day.” Tragically, Matthew Perry passed away on October 28, 2023, at his home in Los Angeles due to a ketamine overdose.
