Heather Rae El Moussa gained fame as a reality TV celebrity when she debuted on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” in 2019. She has since joined HGTV with her show “The Flipping El Moussas.” Although her husband, Tarek El Moussa, is familiar to HGTV viewers, some fans express their dislike for their collaboration, primarily due to her vocal style. In a Facebook post by HGTV promoting “The Flip Off,” numerous viewers voiced their frustration, with one stating, “I wish I didn’t have to hear Heather’s voice.” Comparisons were also made to Tarek’s former partner, Christina Hall, with a comment saying, “If my eyes could roll back any further… the new Christina is like nails on a chalkboard.”

In April 2024, Heather made a playful jab at her critics through an Instagram post, where she was seen dancing with her son, Tristan. She wrote, “Imagine hating on me while I’m just here having fun…” Her caption addressed the dual nature of social media, stating, “It connects us but can also breed negativity; it’s vital to manage how we engage with it. I’m sending love to all who struggle with this.” Supportive comments followed, with one fan saying, “Haters project their insecurities. Keep shining, gorgeous,” and another reflecting on the sad reality of hating someone they don’t know.
Currently, Heather is devoted to her blended family with Tarek El Moussa and their son, Tristan, born in January 2023, alongside their show, “The Flipping El Moussas.” She mentioned to Blush, “I’m focusing on maintaining peace in my life and keeping outside negativity at bay… I just block out the noise.”
