In the beginning of Meghan Markle‘s romance with Prince Harry, she shared a close friendship with Victoria Beckham. The couple even graced Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding in 2018 alongside former soccer player David Beckham. However, their relationship appears to have soured since then.

What Ended the Friendship Between Markle and Beckham
Analyst Kinsey Schofield, who has critiqued the couple residing in Montecito, believes that the discord between Meghan and Victoria is rooted in jealousy.
Speaking to Fox News, Schofield stated, “At the heart of it, I suspect envy has played a significant role.” She remarked on Markle’s accusations towards Beckham regarding press leaks, attributing one incident to a salon employee rather than Victoria.
Author Tom Bower outlined in his book, “House of Beckham,” that Meghan became upset when a tabloid piece discussed her “growing friendship” with Victoria. The article prompted Harry and Meghan to initially suspect Beckham of leaking information, leading Prince Harry to confront David Beckham, who strenuously denied these allegations.
Schofield further emphasized their differences, stating, “Victoria Beckham is essentially not like Meghan Markle.” She characterized Meghan as creative and industrious, contrasting her with Victoria, who tends to follow the guidance of those she respects.
