On March 5, a unique event will take place where eleven notable personalities will take on the role of Formula E drivers for a few days. Leading up to this, the participants will undergo training to prepare for driving a Gen3 Evo on the streets of Miami, an experience referred to as the Evo Sessions.
Initially, six of the eleven drivers were announced, featuring familiar faces from the sports world, including Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero and Brooklyn Beckham—the son of David Beckham—who has already secured a place with Jaguar.
Recently, Formula E has added four more names to the lineup, bringing the total to ten. The latest additions include influencers SuperCar Blondie and JUCA, as well as driver Driver 61 (Scott Mansell) and actor Tom Felton.
The selected celebrities will engage in a month-long preparation program that covers physical training, simulator exercises, and consultations with engineers, equipping them to drive the latest Formula E vehicles. These cars boast 475 hp and can accelerate from 0 to 100 faster than Formula 1 cars, achieving a maximum speed of 322 km/h.
Soon, the identity of the final participant and the team assignments for each celebrity will be revealed.
