Michael Jordan may not be pleased with Kevin Hart after the comedian shared that his jokes have irritated the legendary NBA player over the years.
Jordan is known for his competitive nature and sharp sense of humor, yet he doesn’t enjoy being mocked, a principle he demonstrated numerous times while winning six NBA championships.
“I’ve crossed paths with Mike a few times,” Hart shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “He might still be upset with me; that’s the truth.”
During his set, Hart locked eyes with Jordan in the audience and quipped, “At what age is it acceptable to wear pants that high without anyone saying something?”
He continued jokingly, “Am I the only one who thinks Mike’s pants are beyond the acceptable waist limit?”
Since that humorous jab, their relationship has felt tense, even though Jordan understands Hart’s comedic intentions and it’s been awkward ever since.
Interestingly, Jordan likely found some satisfaction after Hart faced challenges with his vegan restaurant ventures in Los Angeles, which ultimately closed down.
Jordan Excludes Himself from GOAT Discussion
The debate over the greatest NBA player often includes LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant, with the latter trailing behind in general consensus.
However, Jordan believes that neither he nor the Lakers legends deserve the title of GOAT, stating that Magic Johnson and Larry Bird are equally deserving peers.
“I don’t see myself above them,” Jordan emphasized regarding Johnson and Bird. “We are on the same level.”
He added, “They taught me numerous lessons about the game and teamwork, which I greatly value. I can’t consider myself superior; we each played in different times.”
