The Untold Struggles of Georgia May Jagger: Life Beyond the Spotlight

Georgia May Jagger, daughter of rock star Mick Jagger, has had a life filled with both privilege and challenges. Raised by supermodel Jerry Hall, she enjoyed an exciting childhood touring with The Rolling Stones. However, the family faced turmoil due to Mick’s infidelities, leading to his split with Hall in 1999 and his later relationship with fashion designer L’Wren Scott. Georgia May formed a close bond with Scott, making the news of her tragic suicide in 2014 extremely hard for her. In immediate response, she canceled all her fashion engagements in Australia to be with family, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Following L’Wren’s death, Georgia May shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, expressing her deep sorrow and recalling the joyful moments they shared. She described L’Wren as an integral part of her life and familial bond. While this loss was monumental, Georgia May faced even more heartbreak in the ensuing years.

In 2019, another loss struck Georgia May when her beloved dog passed away. She expressed her grief on Instagram, sharing a series of photos along with a touching message filled with love for her dog, Guinness, emphasizing how heartbroken she felt. A fan comforted her by acknowledging the pain of losing a pet. Following this painful experience, Georgia May mentioned in an interview with The Standard how she created a little memorial in her home by planting greenery in all the spots her dog loved to hang out, thus turning her space into a jungle.

Before Guinness, Georgia May also faced the grief of losing another pet, Poppy, back in 2013.

Georgia May Jagger’s Business Struggles

Georgia May Jagger has had a tough time lately, finding comfort with her friend Cara Delevingne after a sad event. A source disclosed that Cara organized a small gathering to lift Georgia’s spirits, reminiscing about their late pet, Poppy, sharing memories and drinks. Thankfully, she hasn’t faced another loss since Guinness passed away. However, her business has hit some dire financial troubles.

Financial Woes for Georgia May’s Beauty Brand

Jagger, like many celebrities, ventured into the beauty industry with her brand, Catfish Soup, launched in 2017. However, she hasn’t been able to release any products five years later. As reported by Uinterview, she found herself with nearly $400,000 in debt by 2021 but remained optimistic about her company’s survivability.

By 2022, the financial situation worsened, with debts nearing $650,000 and still no skincare products available for consumers, highlighted by the Daily Mail. This was compounded by her father’s comments on inheritance, stating that his children don’t require his vast wealth to live comfortably. Fortunately, Georgia May finally made a breakthrough, launching May Botanicals in 2023 with a lineup of five skincare products, as reported by Elle. This move should help address her significant financial issues.
