Tragic Loss: The Untimely Passing of Comedian Kabir Singh from ‘America’s Got Talent’ at 39

The entertainment community is mourning the loss of comedian Kabir ‘Kabeezy’ Singh, who sadly passed away at the young age of 39.

This unfortunate news was shared by his fiancee in a statement released to People on December 4.

While the cause of death has not been revealed, reports indicate that Singh had been facing some health challenges. An investigation is currently underway, including a toxicology analysis, but authorities suspect he may have died of natural causes.

Born in Fremont, California, Singh gained popularity on ‘America’s Got Talent’ in 2021, where audiences loved his humorous takes on his Indian heritage and personal anecdotes about his mother.

One of his memorable lines included a joke about his mom learning to text for the first time: “Does anyone’s mom text you? Worst thing that’s ever happened to me in my life.” He humorously described her texts, such as reporting that “the remote is not working.”

His talent led him to the semifinals of the show, and judge Howie Mandel praised him as “relatable” and “magnetic.”

Tributes pour in for Singh

In response to the sad news about Singh’s death, his friend Jeremy Curry expressed his grief on Facebook.

“It is with deep sadness that I announce Kabir Singh has passed away… He left us peacefully in his sleep, and this is the hardest post for me to write,” Curry shared.

“I ask you all to keep his family and fiancé in your thoughts and prayers…. I love you, bro.”

Beyond his stint on “America’s Got Talent,” Singh also lent his voice to “Family Guy” and was active in standup performances as recently as November, just a month before he died.
