The situation surrounding Liam Payne’s tragic death in a Buenos Aires hotel continues to unfold.
Initial inquiries have suggested his passing was a suicide after he fell from the hotel’s third floor. A recorded emergency call might provide crucial insights into the events leading up to this incident involving the former One Direction star.
Local Argentine TV aired the complete audio of the emergency call made by hotel staff just prior to Payne’s fall.
The recording reveals an employee from CasaSur, located at 6032 Costa Rica Street, stating, “We have a guest who is severely intoxicated with drugs and alcohol. When he regains consciousness, he is destructive in his room, and we urgently need assistance.”
The hotel manager added, “It’s critical that someone comes quickly, as I’m concerned for the guest’s safety. He’s in a room with a balcony, and we fear he might endanger his own life.”
Payne had arrived in Argentina earlier in October to support his former bandmate Niall Horan during performances in Buenos Aires.
This incident adds further complexity to an already tumultuous narrative, as it was reported that Payne’s ex-fiancée, Maya Henry, had sent attorneys to issue a cease-contact letter to him.
