Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend, renowned singer Taylor Swift, recently kicked off the much-anticipated “Eras Tour” again, with three consecutive sold-out performances at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. The event attracted a remarkable audience, including Kelce’s brother, ex-NFL star Jason Kelce, and other prominent personalities such as Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports and a known fan of Swift.
Portnoy was present for the second night of the concerts and shared a curious insight during a recent edition of Barstool Sports’ “Taylor Watch” podcast.
Rumors of a romance with Swift’s backup dancer
In a discussion with co-hosts Kelly Keegs and Gia Mariano, he introduced a new theory suggesting that Ross Travis, a former player and close friend of Kelce, might be romantically involved with one of Swift’s backup dancers.
“I inquired if he had previously attended one of her shows; his response was that it was back when he was 14,” Portnoy explained.
“I surmise he is [dating a dancer] because otherwise, what’s the reason for attending alone? I mean, I understand being a fan of Taylor Swift, but after seeing her 14 times and showing up solo in Miami? [It feels] quite odd, so that could be the case.
“He usually hangs out with Travis, but showing up without him means there could be another reason for his appearance.”
Travis, who played as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2015 to 2017, has been seen with Swift numerous times over the last year.
He’s become a regular figure in her suite at Arrowhead Stadium during Chiefs matches, often engaging with her group.
Though it’s uncertain which of Swift’s dancers Travis might be involved with romantically, the speculation is intensifying due to his frequent presence with Swift, largely due to his friendship with Kelce.
