Head coach Andy Reid has given the players some time off before the conclusion of their regular season.
Chiefs Enjoying Their Break
“AndySteelers] game, decided to give the players some freedom to do as they please,” Sweeney mentioned during a recent episode of the “New Day with SSJ” podcast. “One tight end could head to New York with his girlfriend, while a quarterback might spend time with his family.
“It’s uncertain what the rest will decide to do, but it’s a good chance for them to recharge. They will practice next week, but I don’t expect any significant starters to play in the final game.”
Swift has a residence worth $50 million in New York, which is likely where they will enjoy some quiet moments together before Kelce returns to the team. As Sweeney points out, it’s very unlikely Kelce will participate in the last, non-critical game of the season.
