Out of nowhere, President Donald Trump targeted Swift on social media, shaking up the online community.

“Is it really the case that my dislike for her music has made attending her concerts unpopular?” Trump wondered on Truth Social.
Trump’s remarks sparked a strong backlash from Tino Gagliardi, the president of the American Federation of Musicians, who criticized the president for targeting Swift and Bruce Springsteen, calling them overrated and labeling one as an “unpleasant jerk”.
“Both Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift are not only outstanding artists, but they also serve as inspirations for millions across the globe,” stated Gagliardi.

Travis Kelce upset by Trump’s remarks
While Trump’s statements ruffled many feathers online, they particularly struck a chord with Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Kelce was already displeased with Trump’s comments about Swift following the Super Bowl, and his recent remarks reportedly frustrated him once again.
“Travis is infuriated that the President is commenting on his girlfriend like this,” a source shared with the Daily Mail. “It feels unfair, and he sees no reason for it. He’s using this as motivation to excel on the field, especially if Trump continues.”
Since Travis can’t publicly respond without creating further complications, he’s finding ways to cope, as he genuinely wants to defend Taylor. However, staying silent seems to be the only option for him at this moment.
Trump’s comments about Swift sharply contrast with his past compliments towards Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, whom Trump has praised multiple times.
Brittany supported Trump during the last election, whereas Swift backed his opponent, Kamala Harris, which has led to ongoing criticism from Trump towards Swift.
