Travis Kelce rumored to split with Taylor Swift according to Bill Maher

Travis Kelce to dump Taylor Swift? Bill Maher claims Chiefs star will break up with pop icon

Bill Maher voiced doubts about the relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during his ‘Club Random’ podcast with Hailey Welch, also known as the “Hawk Tuah” girl. Maher bluntly predicted that Kelce would eventually end things with Swift.

Maher criticized Swift’s public affection displays, such as wearing Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs jersey at games, suggesting they could overwhelm the NFL star. Despite Welch’s defense of Swift’s actions, Maher insisted on his belief that Kelce would break up with her. He stated, “He’s gonna dump her, though, you know that?” likening the situation to expecting to be dumped akin to the Gatorade tradition at the Super Bowl.

Despite Welch’s optimism that if the relationship ended, Swift’s fans like herself would get a new hit album out of it, Maher remains skeptical. She humorously remarked, “It won’t be ‘Fk John Mayer’ anymore, it’ll be ‘Fk Travis,'” referring to Swift’s previous hit “Dear John” released in 2010.

Potential for Travis to be the next ex in Swift’s songs?

Maher criticized Swift’s habit of singing about her past relationships, deeming it distasteful and recommending she reflect on the recurring theme in her romantic life. He even jokingly suggested a song titled “Maybe It’s Me.” However, Welch highlighted that Swift had already addressed this notion in her song “Anti-Hero,” with lyrics like, “It’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me.”

While Maher foresees a breakup for the famous duo, Swift’s fans are commemorating the anniversary of Kelce‘s initial public attempt to catch Swift’s attention. As the discussion persists, only time will tell whose prediction will be accurate – Maher’s skepticism or the loyal Swift fans.
