Travis Kelce has shared that since he started dating Taylor Swift, he has explored various cuisines. However, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end humorously stated there’s a limit to his willingness to try new dishes, specifically avoiding anything that he feels could resemble, “something that just came out of a butthole.”
While discussing with his brother, Jason, Kelce mentioned how his relationship with the renowned pop singer, which began in August 2023, has introduced him to diverse food experiences, particularly Indian cuisine.
He acknowledged the positive influence of his 34-year-old girlfriend on his culinary tastes but emphasized that he still has certain food preferences he refuses to compromise on, particularly when it comes to trying curry for the first time.
Kelce admitted, “I’m okay with a light curry,” but added, “If it looks too thick or similar to baby food, I’m out.” He elaborated, “I do have a mental block against food that appears like it just came out of a butthole.”
The athlete, who has established a strong connection with teammate Patrick Mahomes, also mentioned his dislike for New Orleans cuisine just days after their victory over the Saints, beating them 26-13 at Arrowhead Stadium.
He criticized jambalaya, a traditional Creole dish, for its appearance, calling it “poo-ey.”

Following their win against the Saints, in front of Taylor Swift, the Kelce-led Chiefs improved their season record to 5-0, maintaining an unbeaten streak as they dominate the AFC West.
The team is scheduled for a bye week in Week 6, leading fans to wonder when they will return to play.
The Kansas City Chiefs will next face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, October 20, live on ESPN, with kickoff at Levi’s Stadium set for 16:25 ET/13:25 PT. This match will be a rematch of Super Bowl LVIII, which ended with the Chiefs winning 25-22.
