Travis Scott’s Arrest in Paris
At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, rapper Travis Scott, also known as Jacques Bermon Webster, was arrested for fighting outside his five-star hotel shortly after LeBron James’ basketball victory over Serbia in the semi-finals.
According to a statement from the Paris Prosecutor’s Office, Scott was taken into custody for assaulting a security agent who intervened to separate him from his bodyguard at the Georges V hotel.
Local police reported that Scott, with 68.5 million monthly Spotify listeners, was arrested outside the George V Hotel around 05:00 CET, in a drunken state near the famous Champs-Elysees landmark.
Due to his intoxication, Scott was unable to be immediately questioned and was placed in a cell to sober up, suspected of committing violence against another person.
Second Arrest of 2024
This arrest in Paris marks Scott’s second in 2024, following an earlier incident on a boat in Miami. The 33-year-old was apprehended after a disturbance on a yacht, where he was reportedly intoxicated, leading to a night spent at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in June.
