Overview of the Miss Universe 2024 Preliminaries
Prior to the final selection of 30 contestants at the Arena CDMX, the Miss Universe 2024 preliminaries will unfold, where all 130 participants will showcase swimwear and their national costumes.
Notably, this year’s preliminary round will forego the traditional gala catwalk to focus more on the cultural presentations of typical attire and swimwear.
The selection committee will evaluate the performances and determine 25 finalists, with an additional four finalists chosen based on regional representation from Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
The last finalist will be decided by a public vote.
Starting today, all 130 contestants of Miss Universe will embark on their journey in Mexico City. By the end of November 16, one will be crowned as the planet’s most beautiful woman and will serve as an ambassador throughout 2025.
