In 2005, she explained her motivation to start the business was due to a lack of appealing options in the market for computer bags. With Costner’s help, she was able to launch her venture.

Her handbags gained popularity and were even showcased on the TV show “Desperate Housewives,” but the brand’s longevity was short-lived. Currently, her business website is inactive, and its last functional phase was during the early 2000s. Following that period, it redirected to Japanese sites and is now completely down. It is also unknown whether Baumgartner’s handbag business ever had any social media presence.

There’s no indication if Baumgartner intends to revive Cat Bag Couture. Nonetheless, during legal proceedings concerning child support, she revealed intentions to return to work, stating she’s ready to investigate job opportunities and potential training needed for re-entering the job market.
