Chlöe is ready to take the music industry by storm with her debut full-length album, “In Pieces,” set to be released on March 31. For the 24-year-old artist, creating this project has been a three-year process, and she feels like it’s been like “creatively birthing a child.” During this time, Chlöe has also been busy with roles in “Swarm” and the upcoming movie “Praise This,” which dives into the world of competitive gospel choirs. Recording sessions for her album often blended into filming for “Praise This,” leading to some sleepless nights. Despite the exhaustion, she found that both projects were connected in a way, as she was pouring her heart and soul into both.
The movie also allowed Chlöe to work with Gospel artists like Harvey Mason, Koryn Hawthorne, and Jekalyn Carr, inspiring her to reach new heights with her voice and vision. She even sees the project as a way of manifesting her hopes for the future, like winning a Grammy.
Chlöe’s sister and musical collaborator, Halle Bailey, is also entering a major new phase in her career, starring as Ariel in the upcoming live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid.” The two have taken a break from their joint projects for now, but they are still supporting each other every step of the way. Halle is excited for Chlöe’s album to come out and encourages everyone to be hyped for its release.
