Erica Herman, the ex-girlfriend of Tiger Woods, is taking legal action to terminate the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) she signed at the start of their courtship in 2017. According to TMZ, Herman is citing the Speak Out Act as her reason for wanting to nullify the NDA. This Act, as stated on Congress.gov, prohibits the enforceability of a nondisclosure or nondisparagement clause in cases involving sexual assault or sexual harassment in violation of federal, tribal, or state law. Neither Woods nor Herman have released any official statements about their breakup. Golf Monthly reported that Herman was absent from Woods’ participation in the Genesis Invitational in California in February, and The Sun reported that the last time they were seen together publicly was at the US Open tennis tournament in August 2022. Woods’ representatives have not yet responded to TMZ’s request for comment.
