Jessica Simpson Claims Tony Romo Ended Relationship Due to John Mayer

John Mayer and Jessica Simpson had an on-again, off-again relationship from 2006 to 2007. Simpson recalled their time together in an interview with Hoda Kotb, saying, “We were great at intimacy and loving each other, but the relationship was very complex.” After they split, Simpson began dating Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo in November 2007. However, in May 2008, their relationship was strained when Mayer started seeing Jennifer Aniston. Simpson had to tell Romo if Mayer reached out to her, which caused tension between the two.
