Taylor Swift was always private about her relationship with actor Joe Alwyn. But one thing Swift has been open about with fans is that Alwyn helped co-write some of her songs, per ET Canada. Swift shared in her Disney+ special, “I came in and I was like, ‘Hey, this could be really weird, and we could hate this, [but] because we’re in quarantine and there’s nothing else going on, could we just try to see what it’s like if we write this song together?'” Well, the two not only wrote songs for “Folklore,” but ended up writing several more for her albums “Evermore” and “Midnights,” per J-14, including tracks like “Champagne Problems,” “Evermore,” and “Sweet Nothing.”
One thing about Swift is that anything she touches turns to gold. Her net worth alone is $400 million, per Parade. So, anyone who works with the Grammy-winning musician is bound to make some nice cash, including her ex-boyfriend. Even though the two have split, “The Favourite” actor will continue to make money from his work with Swift, per The Sun. A source shared, “Joe will be raking in a fortune from these songs for years … He will easily be making a five-figure sum every year from his contributions. Writing six songs for albums as big as Taylor’s guarantees a healthy income stream for life.”
Talk about a “Gold Rush.”
