Dennis “D.J.” Hernandez, the football coach, was arrested last week after reportedly throwing a brick at ESPN headquarters. A security guard at the building witnessed an Uber arrive and a mysterious passenger get out before throwing something on the ground. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the object was a brick wrapped in a plastic bag with a handwritten note signed by D.J. himself. The note read, “To all media outlets. It’s about time you all realeyes the affect media has on all family members. Since you’re a world wide leader maybe you could lead how media and messages are delivered brick by brick. Clean it up!” After being contacted by authorities, D.J. admitted to being at the headquarters but did not wish to comment on the incident. He was arrested for misdemeanor breach of peace and later released, with a court appearance scheduled for April. He has been told he is no longer welcome at ESPN headquarters and has yet to publicly comment on the situation.
