Leon Thomas III is ready to embark on his solo career and let the world know what he can do as an artist. Growing up surrounded by music, Thomas began studying the greats from a young age. At 10 years old, he auditioned for a Broadway play, which kickstarted his career in entertainment. He then signed a developmental deal with Viacom, which led to roles in television and film. However, Thomas was patiently waiting for the right opportunity to transition from acting to music.
He eventually did, forming the Grammy-nominated production team The Rascals with fellow songwriter Khris Riddick-Tynes. Together, they worked with big names like Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, and Rick Ross. Now, Thomas is ready to release his debut album, “Electric Dusk,” inspired by love and the old-school films he watched while creating it. The album will feature Ty Dolla $ign, Benny the Butcher, and a potential remix of his single “Breaking Point” with an unannounced artist.
Thomas hopes that his solo music endeavors will clear a few things up for fans who only know him from his acting days. He wants people to step into his mind as a creative and hear his perspective. With all the right opportunities now in place, Thomas is not letting any of them slip through his hands.
