Melissa Joan Hart Recalls Assisting Nashville Tragedy Students in Evacuation

Melissa Joan Hart shared a heartbreaking post about her experience helping children escape the Nashville mass shooter. She revealed that this was the second time her family had to deal with a mass shooting close to home, as they once lived near Sandy Hook. Hart was thankful that her family has remained safe, but she was still in tears when she helped a class of kindergartners cross a busy highway to escape the shooter. She also helped a mother reunite with her children. Despite her efforts, Hart is still frustrated by the continuous loss of life due to gun violence.
